Buildings Photography

Throughout my time as a Professional Photographer, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with architects, civil engineers, construction companies, house builders and interior designers, all of which have gone through a creative process not dis-similar to the process I go through when photographing any related subject. I look at the shape, form, light & shade in the hope of creating a style befitting of the project itself and fulfilling the brief.

With UK weather so changeable whatever time of year, it can sometimes be a challenge to achieve the required shot, juggling assignment dates to fit. I’ve always been inquisitive and question why something has been built in a particular way or colour; I find architecture fascinating and often use the first half hour to fully understand the location before I can really start to get to grips with creating the images, a process I really enjoy.

My images have been used all over the world from front covers to glossy features, for professionals & public alike and with the ever changing environment we live in, I will never cease to be amazed.
